The Simple One is an electric scooter from a Bengaluru-based EV startup, Simple Energy. It’s available in a single variant and can be bought with and without the charger for Rs. 1,58,000 and Rs. 1,45,000 (both ex-showroom, Bengaluru), respectively.

Powering the Simple One electric scooter is a 4.5kW motor with a 105km top speed. On the other hand, the battery capacity is 5kWh and the Simple One gets a fixed and a removable battery with a cumulative range of 212km. Simple One will also offer a 750W charger at an additional cost as mentioned above.

The Simple One sports a nice and aspirational design with cuts and creases across the fascia, side panels, and overall bodywork. Its single-piece seat with the grab rail has been retained. Along with the previously offered colours (Namma Red, Brazen Black, Azure Blue, and Grace White), Simple Energy will also offer Brazen X and Light X options.

It rides on telescopic front forks and monoshock and gets a 200mm front disc, and a 190mm rear disc mounted on 12-inch alloys shoed to 90/90 tyres.

The screen allows you to glide through various features like Bluetooth connectivity, calls and music, document storage, navigation, OTA, four-ride modes (Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic), park assist, and more.
